Alyssa Milano: Film and Television AppearancesAlyssa Milano has had a successful acting career thus far. Since working on “Who’s the Boss?” during her childhood years, Milano’s talent has become widely recognized and has enabled her obtain many prominent roles in film and television. Although Alyssa Milano has never had a role in a huge blockbuster film, she has had significant roles in many cult films, most of which were shown on television including “The Canterville Ghost,” “Casualties of Love: The Long Island Lolita Story,” and “Wisegal.” Her earlier work in film brought her recognition and paved the way for her casting in Hollywood movies such as “Fear,” costarring Mark Walhberg and Reese Witherspoon, and “Pathology.” After landing the role of Jennifer Mancini in the renowned television series “Melrose Place,” which lasted 40 episodes, Milano signed on to perhaps the biggest role of her acting career. In 1998, she was cast as Phoebe Halliwell in the hit series “Charmed,” costarring Hollie Mary Combs, Brian Krause, and Rose McGowan. She appeared in 178 episodes of the show. In 2007, she was a guest star on the popular television program “My Name Is Earl,” starring funnyman Jason Lee, wherein she played Billie Cunningham, Earl’s third wife. In 2010, Alyssa Milano will star in the new ABC television series “Romantically Challenged,” created by Ricky Blitt.
