Madonna also had a great influence on Britney as an artist and dancer. She loved her presence on stage and how she blended great music with dance. She believes that Madonna remains one of the greatest entertainers of all time.

When Britney's first album Baby One More Time was being created she was not the only person making decisions about her image. Song material and image were something decided upon by music executives. As she has developed over the years she has taken more control over everything having to do with her career as a musical artist.

Britney drew on past R&B and Pop inspirations when making her fourth album she feels will give her music a real edge. She would also like to do a little more rock and hip-hop and really play with music in future endeavors to keep evolving as an artist.

Britney has other inspirations in life besides the ones she has found in music. She looks to her mother as one of her greatest inspirations. They wrote a book together called Heart To Heart in which they talk about life, love, fame, and pursuing your dreams.

Family Support
While Britney has the talent backing her she knows that you also need to have the support of someone who believes in you. Her mother Lynne is also her best friend. In the book they talk about Britney's journey in the music business and the challenges they face together as mother and daughter. The support Britney has gotten from her family has helped her to stay grounded. Many other child and teen stars that didn't have the right support have fallen through the cracks of the business. The entertainment industry has its definite perks but has its downfalls as well. These downfalls have caused many young stars to burn up and wash out.

Britney has become an inspiration to many people around the world. Her strong morals and sense of self are admirable qualities that make her a good influence to others. Although she gets a lot of flack about her image she continues to set her path and not let bad press bring her down. Her future looks bright and despite any negativity from nay-sayers she is going to keep doing it her way!
