Charlotte Church BiographyThe life of Welsh soprano star Charlotte Church began on February 21st 1986 in Llandaff, Cardiff, Wales. Her remarkable voice was first noticed at the youthful age of three when she sang the ‘Ghostbusters’ theme song with her cousin at a seaside holiday camp in Caernarfon, Wales. The general public discovered her talent when she appeared on “This Morning with Richard and Judy,” a UK daytime magazine program. In 1998, Charlotte Church blew everyone away when the host of “The Big, Big Talent Show” asked her to sing, and from then on, everyone in Wales was talking about her.
Although primarily known as an opera singer, Charlotte Church decided to journey down a different path in her teenage years. In 2005, she released her first pop album titled “Tissues and Tissues,” an effort that depicted her new, controversial image - a nineteen year old Church promoting alcohol, tobacco, and profanity. In 2007, Church began hosting her very own television program, “The Charlotte Church Show.” Charlotte Church has been featured in many tabloid newspapers over the years, and the topic of discussion is frequently about her love life. In 2002, Church left her family home to move in with her DJ/ model boyfriend, Steven Johnson. The couple split up in 2003. She began dating Kyle Johnson, but that relationship ended in 2005. Shortly after, Church met Welsh International Ruby Union player, Gavin Henson. The two of them fell in love and have had 2 children together as of 2009.
