The Television and Movie Appearances of Dylan & Cole Sprouse

As one of the most successful sets of twin actors in the world today, Dylan & Cole Sprouse have appeared on a wide variety of sitcoms, animated films, feature films, and television shows for kids.

Getting their break at only eight months old, Dylan & Cole Sprouse obtained the role of baby Patrick Kelly on “Grace Under Fire,” starring Brett Butler and David Thomas. Once the show was over, the boys found more work in sharing the role of Julian, a five year old boy adopted by Adam Sandler’s character in the smash hit, “Big Daddy,” which came out in 1999.

Following small appearances on a broad range of films, sitcoms and television shows, Dylan & Cole Sprouse signed a deal with Disney that would turn them into superstars. In 2005, the twins starred on the Disney hit series, “The Suite Life of Zack and Cody,” where they played identical twins Zack and Cody Martin, whose lives turn around for the better when their single mother gets a job as the headlining performer at Boston’s fanciest hotel, allowing the family to afford an upper floor suite and meet the fulfillment of their needs. The show bumped them into superstardom. When the show ended, they continued to participate in many other Disney films, programs, and events.

In 2008, Dylan & Cole Sprouse found additional success with their television series, “The Suite Life on Deck,” a show that brings back the identical twins Zack and Cody Martin, who now find themselves in a new setting, onboard the S.S Tipton. As of 2010, the series was still going strong. In fact, the Martins are so popular that the Sprouse brothers have taken their characters to other television shows on the Disney Channel such as “Hannah Montana” and “Wizards of Waverly Place.”
