Joanne, a consultant, and father Lewis, a real-estate broker. Fred is
older brother to Ben, who is also a successful actor, and sister Kala.

small television roles. His big break, however, came in 1987 when he was
cast as the cheeky grandson to Peter Falk in the heart-warming and comical
movie ‘The Princess Bride’. Fred graduated

Fred Savage: Wonder Boy
After gaining national attention from his first role, Fred soon achieved
further stardom by landing the role of Kevin Arnold on the tv sitcom ‘Wonder
Years’. The show was eventually cancelled in 1993, in the
beginning of its fifth year. The show was narrated by an adult Kevin who
reminisced about his younger self growing up in the 1960’s. The
show was immensely popular and catapulted Fred not only into stardom,
but also into the hearts of many young girls. His dimples and toothy grin
soon graced the pages of several magazines. After the show’s cancellation,
Fred had many guest appearances and supporting roles on other television
shows and films. In recent years, Fred Savage has evolved from actor to
director, having directed several episodes of ‘Even Stevens’
and ‘That’s So Raven’ for the Disney
Channel, among other projects.
