Lindsay Lohan - The Parent TrapLindsay’s Big Movie Break
Although Lindsay Lohan was a busy child actor in New York City, her big break in movies did not come until 1997 when she was cast in the major motion picture ‘The Parent Trap’. The part was a challenging one and required Lindsay to play twins. Lindsay proved to be a real talent though, and in fact earned a Young Artist award for a leading actress in her roles as twins. After her success in the film, Hollywood was just waiting for Lindsay and shortly thereafter parts just seemed to come flooding in.

Teaming up with a Fellow Model
Early in 1999, Lindsay was on the set of another movie. This film, ‘Life-size’ was originally a Wonderful World of Disney production, but later became a straight to video release. Although not well-known to many Lindsay fans at the time, the film allowed Lindsay to hone her acting chops and gave her the opportunity to work with the stunning Tyra Banks.

On July 31, 2002, Walt Disney Pictures announced that Lindsay had signed on to play the role of Anna Coleman in the remake of ‘Freaky Friday’. Lindsay was praised for her comic work alongside industry veteran Jamie Lee Curtis. As a note, Jodie Foster starred in the original film, causing many Lindsay Lohan fans to speculate that one day she might be as great as Foster.

Everyone’s Favorite Mean Girl
In 2003, Lindsay signed on to a movie that would become a huge success, landing her in a new category of fame. Teaming up again with ‘Freaky Friday’ director Mark S. Waters, Lindsay would star the in the huge hit ‘Mean Girls’.

Having established herself as a big star capable of pulling in big bucks at the box office, Lindsay signed on to play a self-obsessed teen in the movie ‘Confessions of a Teenage Drama Queen’ (2004) . For her role in the movie, Lindsay received a cool million dollars, proving that she can easily mix with the Hollywood heavyweights.

Herbie: Fully Lindsay (2005)
In 2005, Lindsay won the role of the independent Maggie in ‘Herbie: Fully Loaded’. In her role, Lindsay got behind the wheel of the famous Number 53 and tried to tame the quirky Volkswagon with a mind of its own! Lindsay was excited to play the role of a female race car driver and felt happy to be given the chance to play such a strong female.

In Just My Luck (2006) she plays Manhattanite Ashley who is known to many as the luckiest woman around. After a chance encounter with a down-and-out young man, then realizes that she's swapped her fortune for his.

A Prairie Home Companion (2006)- Lindsay Lohan joins a cast as Lola, along side names such as Meryl Streep and Lily Tomlin who put on a show for viewers of the Garrison Keillor radio variety show as it comes to an end after 32 years.

Bobby (2006) - Story of the assassination of U.S. Senator Robert F. Kennedy, on June 6th, 1968, which centers around 22 people who were at the Ambassador Hotel where he was killed. see the trailer

Chapter 27 (2007)- Taking a minor role in this film Lindsay portrays Jude; a young woman who befriends Mark Chapman the weekend before his assasination of John Lennon.

Georgia Rule (2007)- Rachael, the rebellious teen is uprooted from her home in San Francisco to live with her God fearing grandmother in Idaho where she learns some important lessons about family and hard work.

I Know Who Killed Me (2007)- Lindsay Lohan is Aubrey Fleming, a young woman who has been abducted and tortured by a serial killer. Upon her rescue she claims she is not who they think she is; she claims to be Dakota Moss. Has she forgotten her identity?

Dare to Love Me - (Currently filming) is a movie about Carlos Gradel who rejuvenates his life following a shooting attack in the 1930s.

Poor Things (2008) pre-production - The story, inspired by true events, revolves around two con-artist women who befriend and murder homeless men in order to collect their life insurance policies.
